Some Thoughts

OK, seems people want to voice their opinions this election year, Here's some thoughts -
1) This country is a Representative Republic, NOT a Theocracy (don't know what that means? Look it up). People whine, cry, bitch and complain that the government should stay out of religion and cite "seperation of church and state". OK...then the church needs to stay out of politics. If they, the church, wants to dictate their ideals and beliefs into politics, then the government should take away the church's tax exempt status (look it up! Churches get the tax exempt status). Want to stick religion into public schools? Take your kids out and either home school them or go to religious private schools. Don't like abortions? Don't have one. Don't like guns? Don't own one. Etc..
   We, as in most of America, have become whiny, spoiled, children. If one person doesn't like one thing, they expect everyone to not like it/do it.

2) Don't like a specific candidate? Don't vote for them! Don't like a specific party? Blame America (the people and government - both state and federal)! Lewis Black said it best (mostly paraphrasing in case I don't say verbatim)  "The best example of our current, two party political system is a bucket of shit looking at itself in the mirror."

3) Don't like the rich? Get off your lazy ass and do something that will make you better off financially! Look up how Mark Cuban got rich for example! Or Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg, etc..they started off with nothing and made their money. It's not going to be handed to you, you have to work for it...unless you are a "trust fund baby" that got born into money. Then screw you!

A Bit Better Today

Hopefully things will go better today. This scene is reoccurring in my head all day so far but I'll manage. More boxes to go through (hopefully I can find my Age of Mythology disks), but should be interesting. Might get cracking on my writing now I have a computer to use again.   First blog so forgive me. What to say? Oct. 27, 2015 I had a stroke. Recovery has been a bitch and more than what some people realize, On top of that, other crap happened to me but that's for later. I'm 47 years old and have no real direction since my parents never gave a crap when I was growing up. If it wasnt what my adopted mother didn't like or want, she hated it. Still does today. She is beyond being a control freak, IF Jesus himself came to Earth and told her the real road to salvation, then she, as what she thinks a christian should be, would listen BUT if he said something SHE didn't agree to, she'd tell him he (Jesus) was wrong. Yeah, that kind of stupid controlling. I could and can't ever have a real relationship with anyone because "mother" would disapprove or embarrass me by her stupidity, ignorance, prejudice, and hatred attitude and ideals. Oh and "adopted" because I was also adopted roughly 2 months after I was born. She got me as a trophy for society because she's more barren than the Gobi desert. And now? Long story short, I had to move back in with my parents and every day I struggle with sanity to grab a knife and jab it through her skull.

Anyhoo, I used to like a lot of things but since the stroke, I cant do them. Liked the beach, going out to a movie, building and painting 25mm miniatures, cooking from recipes or Food Network, watching MY shows on tv without questions every 30 seconds from someone who likes to instigate arguments or who can't pay attentions to what's going on, etc...I long for the day of my own place.
